The Agent Family’s Lost Heiress

Synopsis

Twelve-year-old Mia has spent years moving through foster homes, with only a worn silver pocket watch connecting her to her past. When she finally reaches the wealthy Ashford family, her biological brother Ethan mistakes her for a fraud and throws her out. Lost in the rain, Mia knocks on the wrong door—and enters the home of the Blackwoods, a seemingly dangerous family hiding a secret: they are elite agents working for AEGIS, a covert organization that rescues exploited children. As Mia becomes part of their family, she is drawn into the hunt for Grey Beacon, a trafficking network tied to fragments of her forgotten childhood. After a kidnapping forces the Blackwoods to reveal their true identities, Mia’s pocket watch finally proves that she is the Ashfords’ long-lost daughter. But Mia refuses to choose between blood and love. In the end, she gains something she never thought possible: two families, and a home that truly stays.
