Synopsis

At the Thanksgiving family dinner, Ella Wentworth planned to announce her engagement with her fiancé, Asher. He cared only about salvaging the partnership and the resources it provided. Meanwhile, Syla’s true intentions gradually surfaced—she had never wanted love. She wanted Asher’s wealth and the resources behind Wentworth. After leaving Asher, Ella founded Cardinal Line. Through her own ability, she won clients and major bids, delivering a stunning comeback. Without Ella, Asher’s company collapsed rapidly: clients walked away, employees resigned, loans were denied, and eventually creditors seized the company’s assets. The moment Syla saw Asher had nothing left, she abandoned him. In the end, Ella began again surrounded by her family’s love and support. Asher could only stand outside the Wentworth estate, regretting that he had personally thrown away the most important person in his life.
