Synopsis

Anita Lowen, the only daughter of Victor Lowen, president of a biotech conglomerate, returns home from Africa. On the day of her arrival, Serena—Victor’s secretary and fiancée—tries to win Anita’s approval so she can marry into the Lowen family. She brings a virus sample capable of developing antibodies as a gift, planning to present it at the airport. However, in a twist of fate, Anita stops Serena’s car while trying to save someone, and the sample is accidentally destroyed. Furious and unaware of Anita’s true identity, Serena bullies and humiliates her—nearly disfiguring her and even injecting the virus into her body.
