Synopsis
Ava won 70 million in the lottery. Her parents transferred the houses to her brother Lucas and forced her to give up her claim. Her mother said, “You’re a girl. You’ll get married and leave home.” When Lucas’s company collapsed, the family asked her to sell her car and house and lend him the money. They said, “He’s your brother. Just help him.” Ava hired a lawyer and set boundaries: she would support her parents, but her brother’s debts were his responsibility alone. When her mother finally said, “Drive carefully,” without asking her for money, Ava knew she had won the right to be seen as a person.
