Synopsis
At her fifth anniversary banquet, Evelyn Shane is publicly humiliated by her husband, Noah Winslow, who demands she yield her position to his returning first love, Claire. However, Evelyn anticipated this betrayal. Over five years, she secretly managed the Winslow family's massive debts and crisis. Instead of accepting defeat, Evelyn cleverly transfers the family's crushing legal and financial liabilities hidden within the "crown" of the matriarch to Claire. Supported by Alexander Hale, the family's largest creditor, Evelyn exposes Noah's manipulations and financial crimes. Ultimately, she destroys the Winslow legacy, rejects the corrupt family name, and founds her own successful financial restructuring firm, claiming her true independence.
