Synopsis
Orphan July and homeless drifter Dahu were each other's only family. Dahu stole to pay for July's schooling—until he was caught trying to pickpocket Li Wenbo and beaten by his bodyguards. Desperate to save Dahu, July called out to Li Wenbo as “Dad.” Li Wenbo froze, suspecting she was feigning pitiful familiarity, knowing full well he couldn't have children. Still, he let them go. Upon learning Dahu had stolen only for July's tuition, he dropped the matter entirely.
