Ep 1 – Ep 22

Synopsis

Once notorious across the city as the “Black Widow,” Vesper Capone is used by her heartless birth family as a bargaining chip to win favor with a mafia boss. Forced into a proxy marriage with the supposedly brutal, bloodthirsty widower Vincenzo Lucchese, she finds only a cold stand-in and a hall full of mockery on her wedding day—the groom is away in the Golden Triangle. Determined to seize power and break free from the Capones, Vesper enters the Lucchese estate and accidentally witnesses a shocking scene: a twelve-year-old brat shoving a three-year-old girl into the pool. After saving the child, she discovers that beneath the estate’s impossible wealth lie vicious currents. Dante and Sienna, children left behind by Vincenzo’s sacrificed elder brother, are being abused and exploited by a venomous great-aunt and a fiercely biased matriarch, Nonna. Vesper never follows rules. She chooses to become the “most ferocious devil”: thrashing the brat, slapping the poisonous aunt, freezing corrupt accounts, teaching her bullied stepson to fight back, and shielding both children through the storm by any means necessary. In the family’s deadly power struggle, she takes control. When Vincenzo returns blood-covered, he finds not a disposable puppet bride, but a venomous godmother who treats the children as her own and has rewritten the family rules. A cautious alliance becomes a blood-soaked pact of life-and-death devotion. With unmatched ruthlessness and pure, unwavering protection, Vesper becomes a legendary female godfather, standing equal to the mafia king.
