Synopsis

Karen is a stay-at-home mom, and her husband Tom is a wealthy lawyer. While Karen is out, her house catches fire, and her five-year-old daughter, Anna, tragically dies after a fall. A Good Samaritan named Merry hitches a ride on the fire truck driven by Fire Chief Bob to rush Anna to the hospital. They need to get Anna to the emergency room for surgery as quickly as possible. However, the fire truck collides with Karen's car as she is returning from a secret affair. Ignorant of the situation, she demands they kneel, apologize, and pay for the damages, wasting precious time. Merry, paramedic Eve, and nearby bystanders try to convince her to move, but Karen refuses to budge, completely unaware that the fire truck is carrying her own daughter.
