Synopsis

Karen is a stay-at-home mother, and her husband, Tom, is a wealthy lawyer. While Karen is away, their house catches fire, and their five-year-old daughter, Anna, falls and dies. A kind-hearted woman named Merry rides in the fire truck with Anna to the hospital, driven by Bob, the fire captain. They need to get Anna to the ER for surgery as fast as possible. On the way, the fire truck hits Karen’s car as she returns from an affair. She demands an apology and compensation for the damage, wasting precious time. Merry, paramedic Eve, and kind bystanders all try to persuade her to move. But Karen refuses, never realizing that the fire truck is trying to save her own daughter.
