Synopsis

Ling Ye suffers from chronic lethargy as his soul is pulled into the "Prison of Return to Ruins," enduring constant bullying. Inside a vision, he reaches a bronze gate where the imprisoned Sun Wukong identifies him as the "Seventh Warden." To escape his sleepiness, Ling Ye strikes a deal with Wukong: find the Ruyi Jingu Bang to borrow the Great Sage's power. To save Shen Ningxuan from a parasitic evil, he uses the Jingu's power for the first time, leading to his recruitment by the "Bureau of Anomalous Events." Ling Ye passes the test as an intern and discovers the Jingu Bang is hidden in the branch vault.
