Synopsis
Leon, the hidden God of Medicine (Asclepius), has spent a year living as a humble son-in-law of the Hart family to repay a life debt: he promised the dying patriarch Ed to marry his daughter Anna and cure her fatal Withering Blood Disease. Scorned as a worthless drifter by Anna, her mother Martha, and steward Mia, Leon is framed for assault and divorced. Meanwhile, the scheming Locke heir Carl courts Anna to seize the Hart medical empire, while Mia secretly swaps Leon's curative sachet for poison. The Goddess of Life, Leah, and Oracle House heir Lucy both pursue Leon, who saved their kin. At the Festival of the God of Medicine, Leon reveals his power—awakening a comatose man through serpent magic—and is hailed Divine Healer. Yet Anna still rejects him. When Martha collapses, Leon saves her from behind Leah's divine cover. Leah exposes the Harts and Lockes, bans them from the temple, and claims Leon as her chosen one. Anna begs mercy; Leon spares them for Ed's sake. He leaves with Leah and Lucy, his true glory finally unveiled—even as Hades' death soldiers still hunt the god who steals souls from the underworld.
