Ep 1 – Ep 60

Synopsis

Matthias Cherning, a genius chef, was ruthlessly squeezed out by his greedy cousin Duncan with only three thousand dollars as compensation. Undeterred, he rents a shabby store opposite Duncan’s fancy restaurant and opens Cherning’s Kitchen with his loyal girlfriend Amelia. Relying on peerless cooking skills, he wins countless customers’ hearts. Duncan resorts to dirty tricks: slander, hired thugs, bad ingredients, and usury to ruin him. Yet Matthias gains support from a real estate tycoon, a famous food critic, and a catering investor. After countless brutal competitions, Duncan collapses completely, while Matthias builds a booming catering empire with sincere craftsmanship and an unyielding spirit.
