Synopsis

Ethan, a stay-at-home husband, is asked by his wife Victoria and daughter Amy to remain at the kidnapping site in place of Marcus, his wife's lover, so they can be saved. Released three years later, he discovers Victoria living with Marcus and Amy treating him like a stranger. The kidnapping was orchestrated by Marcus all along. Ethan returns in silence, inherits BW Group, exposes evidence that Marcus hired men to abduct him, and sends him to prison. Facing his wife and daughter's pleas, Ethan's heart turns to ash: "You made your choice three years ago. Now I make mine." In the end, Ethan marries Clara, a psychologist, rebuilds himself through his trauma, and learns to choose carefully who he lets into his heart.
