Synopsis
On the morning of their tenth anniversary, Elena gets ninety-nine red roses from her husband Ethan at the office reception. But then she overhears the cleaning staff talking—turns out, Ethan secretly hired his mistress Sophie three years ago, and he's been using Elena's money to pay for Sophie's luxury apartment, Porsche, Hermès bags, and even her health insurance. Elena doesn't break down or make a scene. Instead, she cancels the handbag before it's even picked up, freezes the car guarantee, takes back the apartment, changes the locks—and goes after every single asset he took from her. When Ethan tries to fight back with a fake marital gift agreement, company client funds, and accusations that Elena is "emotionally unstable," Sophie finally realizes she's been played too—and hands over their chat logs. Elena digs deeper and finds out Ethan's own father Nathan helped steal client money. At the anniversary dinner, she reveals the full accounting in public, and the board strips Ethan of all his power. After the divorce, Elena pays back the clients first, sets up an employee safety center, and refuses to trade her marriage back for Ethan's last-minute regrets. Six months later, she agrees to give him another chance—but only under a new agreement: equal, independent, and with a clear exit door she can walk through anytime.
