Synopsis

Manhattan bartender Leo believed he was a lonely nobody with no family. On his wedding day, a ragged, mud-streaked elderly couple arrived, claiming to be his long-lost parents. His gold-digging bride publicly humiliated them by throwing wine in their faces, threatening to call off the wedding unless Leo chased the “beggars” away. Leo chose to end the engagement rather than abandon the pair. Unknown to Leo, these unassuming seniors were the Marino Mafia godfather and his wife, rulers of the entire East Coast. They endured years of feigned poverty, suffering endless insults to test Leo’s integrity and uncover the true nature of people surrounding him. When Leo activated the hidden switch on his family heirloom ring, fleets of helicopters and bulletproof motorcades descended. The overlooked bartender was crowned the mafia’s young heir overnight. All who betrayed him faced brutal reckoning, and a twenty-five-year blood feud was laid to rest. This riveting mafia revenge drama brings explosive, deeply satisfying power-reversal thrills.
