Synopsis

Blind Sofia Souza is forced into marriage by her abusive father. She runs away with her mother, Helena Lima, but later ends up pregnant with Vicente Gusmão's child. The two get married and move in together. Secretly, Vicente has been in love with Sofia for years. Sofia soon realizes that their marriage is actually Vicente's sweet master plan of love. Meanwhile, Vicente's uncle, Ricardo Gusmão, happens to be Helena's first love. In the end, the abusive father is arrested, and love conquers all.
