Synopsis
Claire gave up her career in finance for her marriage. Ten years later, she discovers that her husband Daniel has been betraying her for a long time. Determined to keep her son Leo, she avoids impulsive divorce. Instead, she secretly gathers evidence, untangles the couple’s shared assets, and returns to the workforce to earn her own income. Faced with her husband’s fight for custody and the relentless schemes of his mistress Lily, Claire ultimately wins custody of her child and makes her comeback in the finance industry. She evolves from a dismissed housewife into a capable, self‑reliant project lead. Her old flame Ryan stands by her side, helping her learn to trust in relationships again. Even so, Claire comes to a profound realization: what truly transforms a woman’s life is never trading one man for another, but regaining the power to choose and walk away whenever she wants. A woman’s best destination is herself.
