Synopsis
For five long years, Esther endured a deeply abusive marriage. Her husband, Carl, cheated on her, beat her, and was indirectly responsible for the death of their baby daughter. On their fifth wedding anniversary, during yet another violent argument, Carl dies in a freak accident. Panicked, Esther buries his body in the backyard and falls asleep. When she wakes up the next morning, Carl is standing right in front of her—alive, well, and acting exactly like the sweet, loving man he was when they first met.
