Synopsis
For five years, Esther endured an abusive marriage. Her husband, Carl, cheated, was violent, and indirectly caused their daughter's death. On their fifth anniversary, Carl dies accidentally during a fight. Shocked, Esther buries him in the backyard and goes to bed. The next day, Carl reappears. He is alive and behaves like the gentle, loving man he used to be, not the cruel husband she just buried. Esther is left confused: did Carl rise from the dead, or has he been replaced?
