Mom's Porridge Shop Redemption

Synopsis

For ten years, Shirley Carter worked as an unpaid caregiver in her daughter's home, while her pension was taken and criticism never stopped. She left home and opened a porridge shop. Her daughter's family remained cold, but after Shirley was seriously injured in a traffic accident, they repented: they cared for her, returned her money, learned new skills, and shared the housework. Her granddaughter changed too, helping run the shop. The family resolved its old grievances and took a portrait together at the shop. Shirley regained her dignity and the warmth of family.
