Synopsis
In the third year of the zombie apocalypse, Rachel Morrison’s daughter, Mia Voss, was scratched by a zombie while searching for supplies. Her left arm became infected, and her fever rose to 41°C. Mia’s father, Adrian Voss, was the leader of the survivor camp. However, he locked his daughter in isolation and devoted all his attention to his former lover, Serena Hall, and Serena’s infected daughter, Nora Hall. He ignored Mia in the next room and even suggested executing her to save the camp’s limited medicine for Nora. After Adrian refused to listen to her pleas, Rachel carried the weak Mia out of the camp and hid in an abandoned building. Unexpectedly, Mia never became a zombie. Her fever disappeared, and she fully recovered, becoming the only infected person known to have developed antibodies. Adrian regretted his decision and begged Mia on his knees to accept him as her father again, but she refused. In the end, Nora turned into a zombie and killed Adrian with her bite. Serena lost her mind and was also bitten and infected by Nora. Rachel left the camp with Mia, and the mother and daughter finally began a new life together.
