Synopsis
Growing up poor, talented Wall Street quantitative analyst Ella (alias Isabelle) is forced into a contractual marriage when her mother needs a $5 million liver transplant. Billionaire Sebastian, head of the Black Group, also needs a nominal wife to claim his family inheritance before turning 35. The two sign a three-year agreement: Ella gets the medical funds and an apartment, while Sebastian meets the inheritance requirements. They hold a simple wedding but live like strangers under one roof. Their fragile arrangement collapses when Ella gets pregnant, and the child is revealed to be Sebastian’s half-brother Nick’s. Bent on revenge against the family, Nick sets them up to create a scandal, sending the group’s stock tumbling and sparking public criticism. Instead of turning his back, Sebastian stands firmly by Ella’s side and flees with her to Switzerland. His thoughtful care gradually melts his cold demeanor, and genuine affection grows between them. Nick is later hunted down and arrested. Ella safely gives birth to twin daughters. The fake marriage deepens into true love.
