Synopsis
Noah, an architecture postgraduate, meets wealthy Julian by chance, only to discover that the man is to become his stepfather. They have already fallen for each other, while Julian marries Noah’s mother, Vivian, solely under a business contract. When Vivian discovers their forbidden romance, she uses every means to tear them apart—faking heart attacks, arranging a forced engagement, and fabricating false evidence. Noah and Julian hold fast to their love through confrontations and a court trial. Eventually, Vivian lets go of her prejudice and accepts her son’s true identity. The story ends at their seaside cottage at dusk. Two wounded men break free from worldly shackles and family barriers, finally finding a lifelong home in each other.
