Synopsis
Emma Sullivan grew up in a family that favored the eldest son and mistreated daughters. After her parents died, they left her a mansion and fortune. But her adopted brother Ryan and his miserly wife Vicky exploited her for years. In her past life, Emma died from an asthma attack because Vicky refused to pay for medicine and pinned down her hand as she suffocated. Ryan agreed her death would save money. Emma awakens on the day Vicky moves in and demands her salary account. This time, she fights back, using her black card to buy ten Hermès bags for trash and deliberately “waste” the family fortune. Vicky’s mother Brenda joins the fight. Emma reveals her parents’ will and DNA results: Ryan is not their biological son, but a child abandoned at their door by the butler. His family is cast out. Desperate, they return in a storm with poisoned soup. Emma records them and exposes the truth: her parents’ accident was murder. Ryan cut the brakes and pulled out their oxygen tube. Ryan and Vicky are convicted, and Brenda goes to prison. Emma sells the mansion, starts a foundation for girls betrayed by their families, and fulfills her parents’ dreams by visiting the Eiffel Tower and seeing the aurora. She leaves toxic family ties behind for freedom, dignity, and a life of her own.
