Synopsis
This Western medieval rebirth short drama follows Seraphina Ashford, a duke’s daughter who suffers a devastating tragic first life. Blinded by infatuation, she wholeheartedly backed Castor, the king’s illegitimate son, abandoning Aldric—the rightful crown prince who loved her deeply. After seizing the throne, Castor massacred Seraphina’s entire clan. Her young son was poisoned by her jealous half-sister Evelyne, and she was trapped in a burning tower. The one-eyed Aldric rushed through fire to hold her as they all perished together. Miraculously, Seraphina wakes up back on the day of her engagement at nineteen, given a second chance to rewrite fate. Clear-headed and scarred by past agony, she publicly rejects Castor’s white roses and chooses Aldric before everyone, triggering a vicious counterattack from the defeated pair. Castor and Evelyne conspire relentlessly: they slip sedatives into her wine, plot to frame her, and even attempt to poison her mother to weaken the Ashford family’s power. Seraphina foresees all their tricks and dismantles every trap one by one, exposing their sordid affair to the whole household. Forced into a loveless, hostile marriage by the king, the two still plot revenge in secret. To eliminate hidden dangers, Seraphina alerts her uncle Rowan, the northern border commander, to a traitor in his army, who is arrested and executed after a staged trap. Later, Castor stages a fake assassination to win the late king’s trust and clear himself of treason ch
