Synopsis

Emily, a minimum-wage cleaner, struggles to care for her sick daughter. Her ex-boyfriend Mark Cardmon, missing for twenty years after an accident and undergone facial reconstruction, suddenly returns. They marry impulsively. Though falling in love again, neither realizes the other's identity. As Mark raises money for daughter Selene's surgery and shields Emily from workplace bullies, he uncovers the truth: Emily is his former lover, Selene his biological daughter. Can this couple in their 40s finally find happiness?
