Synopsis

Jiang Zhenyi, a woman from the ancient Liang Dynasty, time-travels to the modern era and dates Shanghai elite Sheng Chuxu. He refuses to believe her origins, repeatedly hurts her, and even cheats on her. Seeing his toxic, playboy nature, she decides to return to her own time during a solar eclipse. Sheng dismisses this as a desperate attention-seeking ploy, convinced she is too obsessed with him to ever leave. But then, she vanishes into thin air. After a near-fatal car crash, Sheng finds himself thrown back to the Liang Dynasty, possessing the body of Jiang Zhenyi's fiancé, Gu Qibai. Assuming Gu's identity to find her and win her back, Sheng struggles for control over the body, while Jiang Zhenyi begins to sense that something is deeply wrong with her "fiancé."
