Synopsis

Harper suffers relentless physical and mental abuse from Samuel. Deeming her imperfect and manipulated by his assistant, Ruby, Samuel forces Harper into the "Perfect Wife Boot Camp." This suburban institution is a living hell ruled by Camilla and Daniel, where Harper is subjected to violence, forced strip searches, and sexual assault—all authorized under a contract signed by Samuel. Broken by the trauma, Harper submits completely, becoming the submissive, obedient wife Samuel desired. However, when Samuel views footage of Harper's abuse during an inspection, he is consumed by rage and guilt. He rescues her, but the damage is irreversible; Harper has lost her sense of self, becoming an empty shell who can no longer play her beloved cello. Samuel discovers Ruby was the mastermind behind the plot, destroys the institution, and sends Ruby to prison. Soon after, Harper is diagnosed with a terminal illness, and Samuel dedicates himself to caring for her. Yet, Harper refuses to forgive his betrayal to her dying breath. She ultimately passes away in the ICU, and her final question, "Am I a perfect wife now?" becomes a nightmare that will haunt Samuel for the rest of his life.
