Synopsis
After an ordinary life on Earth, Zelier awakens in the body of a sixteen-year-old novice mage in a dangerous fantasy world. Poor, inexperienced, and armed with only a basic Fireball spell, he joins an adventuring party to survive and earn enough money to continue studying magic. His prospects change when he unlocks Spell Evolution, a rare ability that can analyze and reproduce magic he witnesses. Yet power does not come easily. Every new spell demands intelligence, timing, courage, and the willingness to face monsters far beyond his level. As Zelier returns to Blackstone Town, enters the world of mages, and accepts increasingly dangerous missions, his unusual growth begins attracting attention. Surrounded by loyal companions, suspicious observers, deadly creatures, and secrets hidden within spellcraft, he must learn how to use his limitless potential without being destroyed by it. His journey has only just begun, and every battle reveals a larger world.
