Synopsis

The whole village called Poppy a curse—the orphan girl nobody wanted. But on the day Wade adopted her, she led him to a wild beehive. Twelve pounds of honey. First payday. Then she pointed at a creek—fish everywhere. She picked weeds from the roadside—Grandma's blind eye started seeing light. At three years old, she knew every herb, could predict a landslide, and even wild pheasants let her touch their eggs. Everyone warned Wade: "She's bad luck. She collapsed the orphanage." Wade didn't care. He carried her into the hills, cutting bamboo shoots, digging herbs. While the town's old bachelors scraped by on pennies, Wade was making real money—all because Poppy showed him where to go. Soon, the same people who called her a curse were begging her to look at their sick. This isn't a Cinderella story. This is a lucky star who only shines on those who deserve it. Poppy isn't a curse. She's the mountain's gift.
