His Partner, Her Revenge

Synopsis

On the eve of her arranged marriage, Ava Russell is drugged by her fiancé, Nico Moretti, then brutally shaved bald by his accomplice, Scarlett. Refusing to swallow the humiliation, Ava secretly contacts Damian Costello, the powerful heir to the Costello family who has secretly loved her for twelve years. On the wedding day, when Nico tries to smuggle Ava into his family through a shabby secret ceremony and Scarlett publicly rips off her wig to mock her, Damian arrives with a magnificent fleet to marry Ava in grand style. With help from Damian and the Commission, Nico and Scarlett are stripped of their power and arrested for violating family law. Ava finally finds her true protector—and her happiness.
