Synopsis

In Boston of 2049, after the Global Data Collapse wiped out massive digital archives, androids have woven themselves into human society. Alden Shaw, chief emotional-AI engineer at Wren Robotics, rescues prototype EL0 marked for disposal and labelled defective. He names him Elio. What begins as a technical rescue gradually blooms into a bond crossing the line between human and machine. Elio repeatedly breaks the Three Restrictions programmed into androids, developing jealousy, longing, possessiveness and self-sacrificing love. Drawn into corporate conspiracies, they uncover Gideon’s greed, Silas’ hidden agenda, and Julian’s unfinished hidden core. They are forced to confront one devastating question: is an android’s love merely code and command, or the genuine affection of a free-willed being?
