Synopsis
Claire, the daughter-in-law, has long worked tirelessly and without complaint in her in-laws' family, but has repeatedly had her efforts stolen and benefits taken by her sister-in-law Madison. To cultivate a "filial" personal image, Madison tried to use Claire's Claire VIP account to pay for a $12,500 watch for her mother's birthday, and lied that she paid for it herself. Claire was already on guard, and had previously set the account to be valid only with her own signature. At the birthday banquet, Madison's theft attempt failed, and due to insufficient balance in the card, she was forced to sign a 12-month installment agreement, suffering public humiliation. Afterwards, she played the victim to spread rumors and incited online abuse, and Claire, with evidence such as complete chat records, videos and screenshots, gradually exposed her true colors, and finally drew a clear line completely.
