Synopsis

Heiress Iris gave up her family fortune to marry Dorian, a poor ordinary man. Three years later, she is expecting her first child when suddenly, her crazy, controlling mother-in-law (Tessa) insists the hospital she is at is too expensive. Tessa manages to convince Dorian that they need to move to a cheaper hospital. Dorian, who is a spineless mama’s boy, gives in to all of Tessa's demands and begins to abuse Iris as well. Iris fights against the increasingly unreasonable demands while dealing with the unbearable pain of her heavily pregnant stomach. Just when she can't take it anymore, Iris's father finally shows up with gifts for his new grandchild. How will Alec protect his daughter?
