Synopsis

Heiress Iris gave up her family fortune to marry Dorian, an ordinary, poor man. Three years later, she is about to welcome their first child when suddenly, her controlling mother-in-law, Tessa, insists the hospital she is at is too expensive. Tessa manages to convince Dorian to transfer Iris to a cheaper hospital. Dorian, a spineless mama's boy, gives in to all of Tessa's demands and begins to harass Iris as well. Iris struggles with increasingly unreasonable demands while enduring unbearable pain in her pregnant belly. Just when she can take it no longer, Iris's father, Alec, finally shows up, bearing gifts for his new grandchild. How will Alec protect his daughter? When will Iris teach her husband and mother-in-law a lesson?
