Synopsis

Heiress Iris gave up her fortune to marry Dorian, a poor nobody. Three years later, right before the birth of their first child, her obsessive mother-in-law Tessa decides that Iris's hospital is too expensive and convinces Dorian to switch to a cheaper clinic. Dorian, a spineless mama's boy, gives in and starts mistreating his pregnant wife. As Iris endures the agonizing pain of late pregnancy while fighting off their absurd demands, she reaches her breaking point. Just then, her wealthy father Alec arrives with gifts for his granddaughter. How will Alec protect his daughter? When will Iris finally put her husband and mother-in-law in their place?
