Synopsis
Ella Hernandez, heiress to a 70-year-old Napa Valley vineyard, gave up her winemaking dreams for husband Derek Walker, unaware their marriage was a takeover plot for her land and secret recipes. Seeing Derek claim her father's formula on TV, Ella confronts him, only to discover the insurance paperwork she signed while pregnant was a deed transfer. In the ensuing struggle among the vines, Derek causes her to miscarry, leaves her bleeding in the mud, and evicts her under the guise of mental instability. Broke, blacklisted, and stranded in a cheap motel, she is found by Lucien, heir to Burgundy's prestigious Giraud winery, who never forgot the brilliant wine she crafted six years ago under the mark 'A'. Backed by Lucien's resources, Ella returns to the Premiere Napa Valley auction with 'Rebirth', fetching $800,000. Despite Derek's desperate smear campaigns and trademark theft, Ella systematically destroys him with Lucien's help. Derek receives an 18-year prison sentence, and Ella reclaims her legacy with her masterpiece, 'Homecoming'.
