He Called My Daughter His

Synopsis

For six years, Emily Carter has been treated as an unpaid maid by the family of Daniel Miller, the man who once promised to marry her and protect their daughter Lily. The night Lily is falsely accused of stealing ballet shoes and forced to kneel in the rain with a fever, Emily finally walks away. With nowhere to go, she enters a practical marriage with wheelchair-bound billionaire CEO Alexander Preston. Unlike Lily' s biological father, Alexander openly calls Emily his wife and Lily his daughter. Given safety, respect, and the right to choose, Emily rediscovers the fashion talent buried beneath years of laundry and alteration work, while Lily fights for her place on the ballet stage. Together, mother and daughter build new lives, confront toxic family members and class prejudice, and learn that real love never requires them to become smaller.
