Synopsis
The story takes place in rural Pennsylvania, USA, where a young girl named Claire Sullivan engages in direct harvesting of agricultural products from the production area. She skips middlemen and helps local vegetable farmers sell high-quality Napa cabbage to the Philadelphia community, doubling their income and gaining widespread trust. Philadelphia wholesaler Vince was dissatisfied with his customers being robbed and sent his niece Vanessa to infiltrate the countryside, using a fictional high price of 55 cents per pound to incite vegetable farmers. Maggie and other farmers were blinded by their interests and turned against Claire, smashing her warehouse before terminating their contract. Afterwards, it was discovered by many that it was a scam, with a purchase price of only 14 cents per pound, and a large amount of vegetables rotting in the fields, leaving no way out. Claire moved to Lacross County to collaborate with new farmers, securing large orders for fresh food chains with high-quality sources, registering an agricultural company, and gradually scaling up her business, demonstrating the complexity of human nature and the resilience of entrepreneurs in rural commerce.
