Synopsis

Shen Wan and Gu Huai have been married for seven years in a marriage arranged for business. She supported her husband's career every step of the way, yet suffered emotional neglect after giving birth. Gu Huai always favored his assistant, An Xin, whom he saw as a substitute for his first love, while turning a blind eye to Shen Wan's devotion and leaving her hurt and unappreciated. All her pent-up emotions erupt at their child's full-moon banquet. Shen Wan publicly files for divorce and launches three devastating counterattacks: she reveals that the child is not Gu Huai's biological child, immediately withdraws all her investments from Gu Group and plunges it into financial crisis, then exposes An Xin's hypocritical and jealous true nature on the spot. With unwavering resolve, she turns the tables spectacularly. After learning the truth, Gu Huai realizes his mistakes and is consumed by regret. He embarks on a long journey to win his wife back, repeatedly lowering himself to beg for reconciliation. But Shen Wan's heart is broken, and she will never look back. She finally leaves decisively with her child, breaks free from the unfulfilling marriage, and begins a brand-new independent life.
