Synopsis
Eight years ago, Ethan Carter took the blame for a murder to repay Ryan Black for taking a knife blow for him. In prison, Ethan believed his fiancée, Vanessa Shaw, was waiting and Ryan was protecting her. Upon release, Ethan found Ryan and Vanessa had betrayed him to steal his hidden gold and stage his death. Learning the truth, Ethan fought back, exposing their lies. He then reunited with Sophia Bennett, whom he had rescued from the Golden Triangle as a child. Sophia, heir to the Empire Group, was being stripped of her inheritance by her uncle, Richard Bennett. With Ryan joining Richard, the past murder linked directly to the dynasty struggle. Marcus Kane, who originally blamed Ethan for his sister's death, joined Ethan after discovering Ryan was the real killer. Ethan, Sophia, and Marcus joined forces to crush Richard's network, expose Ryan's crimes, and help Sophia reclaim the Empire Group.
