Ep 1 – Ep 36

Synopsis

Qiu Ya, married far from home, originally built a peaceful life with her husband, Wang Jiacheng. However, their lives are turned upside down by her biased mother-in-law and her deadbeat brother-in-law, Wang Jiaqiang, who constantly leech off them. The mother-in-law secretly sells her eldest son's property to fund her younger son, while the brother-in-law sexually harasses female clients, abuses his own wife, and even assaults Qiu Ya, nearly causing her to miscarry. Pushed to the limit by her husband's spineless enabling, Qiu Ya finally wakes up from her pain. She chooses divorce and uses the law to fight back. Ultimately, the brother-in-law is sentenced to eight years in prison, and the mother-in-law is sent back to her hometown. This story depicts a woman's powerful journey of breaking free from toxic in-laws and reclaiming her life.
