Synopsis
Travis, a seasoned truck driver, risks his life delivering cargo through the treacherous blizzards of Donner Pass year-round to raise funds for his mother's costly heart surgery. However, his greedy partner, Chad, betrays him by pocketing the $300,000 year-end profit, leaving Travis with a mere $15,000. Furious, Travis quits. With the financial backing of Marcus, a loyal client who trusts him, Travis buys a new truck and goes independent. Harboring a deep grudge, Chad repeatedly attempts to sabotage Travis by planting contraband and slashing his tires, but Travis outsmarts him every time. Soon, karma hits Chad: his mistress flees with his remaining funds, bankrupting him. Desperate to recover, Chad attempts to transport expensive medical equipment, but a reckless overtaking maneuver leads to a devastating rollover accident. Facing a massive $1.6 million liability claim, Chad is left utterly ruined.
