Synopsis

When Jane Turner asks a stranger at a BDSM party to teach her how to be a dominant, she has no idea he will turn out to be the man overseeing her father's exit from the family company. What is supposed to be one night of dominance and submission training turns into something more when Jane asks Dom to keep teaching her. Because of a morality clause in his contract, a relationship with her could mean losing his job if anyone finds out, but Dom agrees. They must keep their relationship strictly educational and completely secret, but as their passion grows, so does the risk of exposure. Jane's success on set is thanks to Dom's "training," but when she starts receiving increasingly threatening messages linking her to her late mother, famous actress Ingrid Hart, Dom must protect what is his. With multiple enemies who could be behind the threats, Jane isn't sure who to blame. It turns out to be the set lighting technician, a man who worked with and was obsessed with Ingrid. Doug abducts Jane, but her quick thinking leads Dom to rescue her—revealing their relationship and triggering the morality clause. Dom makes a deal with Jane's father without her knowledge: the father will stop trying to block Jane's film career, and Dom will return to London, never to see her again. On the night of Jane's film premiere, her father reveals the truth, and Jane contacts the man she fell in love with. Upon receiving her message, Dom returns to beg for forgiveness for leaving. Jane forgives him, and they can finally be together openly.
