Daycare for Hell Babies

Synopsis

Emma, grieving over her dying daughter Lily, strikes a deal with death messenger Silas. She must work as a teacher at Hell Kindergarten, helping four trapped ghost kids willingly pass into Heaven. At first she treats them as mere tasks to reunite with Lily. Gradually, she digs into each child’s hidden trauma: unresolved family guilt, craving to be seen, over-burdened sense of responsibility, and regretful last words. She listens, comforts and bids each of them farewell. When the gate between life and death finally opens, Emma faces a painful choice. She gives up staying with Lily for her daughter’s rebirth, and returns to the kindergarten to keep accompanying more lost young souls.
