Ep 1 – Ep 40
Synopsis
After Jack Morgan returned to his hometown in Iowa from Chicago, driven by kindness, he hoped to lead the local villagers to prosperity together. He bought corn from farmers at a premium price and shipped it to Chicago to sell to organic food enterprises, tripling everyone’s incomes. Yet greed knows no bounds. Manipulated by Sarah Brown, a group of farmers led by Bill Carter repeatedly fell for her lies, convinced that Jack was profiting unfairly off their labor. No matter how Jack explained and warned them, they remained stubbornly deluded, refusing to trust him time and again. Eventually, Sarah and the con artists backing her fled with all the money, leaving the farmers with total losses. Instead of reflecting on their mistakes, they intensified their harassment of Jack, attempting to shift all blame onto him. This time, Jack could no longer afford to be lenient. He promptly called the police, used the law to defend himself, and put an end to this endless conflict once and for all. He then resolutely left the town and launched a brand-new agricultural cooperative in the neighboring county.
