Bury Love in Yesterday

Synopsis

Seven months pregnant, Su Miao is forced by her husband, Jiang Chengyou, to attend a class reunion. While everyone celebrates, Chengyou leaves her in a corner to flirt with his first love, Yang Xue. When Yang Xue loses a game requiring a drink, Chengyou claims she is allergic to alcohol and forces pregnant Su Miao to drink instead. Refusing to back down, he forcibly pours the drink down her throat, unaware Yang Xue swapped the beer for high-proof liquor. The alcohol causes brain damage to the fetus, forcing Su Miao to induce labor and lose her child. Once the most sought-after beauty at Jing University, Su Miao gave up everything to build a life with Chengyou from scratch. Yet Yang Xue's return turns Chengyou cold, dismissive, and resentful. Heartbroken, Su Miao walks away permanently, rejecting Chengyou's desperate pleas for forgiveness to reclaim her own life and worth.
