Bright as the Moon, Lost to the Stars

Synopsis

Linda Jones grew up spoiled as the only biological daughter and heir of Jones’ Famous Family, showered with endless love from every family member. Their perfect life shattered when they adopted Mary Smith, a scheming girl who mastered playing the weak victim to win everyone’s sympathy. Crafting vicious lies and planting false evidence, Mary successfully framed Linda for a felony. Blindly trusting their manipulative foster daughter, the Jones family disowned Linda and sent their own blood to jail. Once released from prison, Linda returned home only to suffer constant contempt and humiliation from her family. Crushed by their cold betrayal, she made two decisive moves: she legally changed her name to sever all connections with the Jones household, and called off her arranged engagement to the wealthy Brown family heir. Relying on her unmatched natural talent for the cello, Linda climbed to worldwide fame and became an internationally renowned cellist. When the Jones family witnessed her staggering success, they were consumed by remorse and tried desperately to reconcile with Linda, begging for a second chance. However, the deep wounds they inflicted could never be healed—Linda shut them out for good and refused every one of their pleas.
