Synopsis
Ordinary human girl Avril falls deeply in love with pure-blood vampire count Arthur and secretly stays with him for three years under a hidden identity. Years ago, Arthur was severely injured by sunlight and on the brink of death. Avril sacrificed her own flesh and blood to save him, but the jealous vampire noble Lilith stole her meritorious deed and took all the credit. Manipulative Lilith sets up endless schemes and frames Avril relentlessly, successfully tricking Arthur into draining Avril’s core heart blood. Leaving the dying Avril abandoned in the endless blood abyss, Lilith seizes Arthur’s trust completely. At her last breath, Avril’s pure soul awakens Cecil, the slumbering thousand-year vampire progenitor, granting her supreme ancient vampire bloodline and rebirthing her as the terrifying new queen of the night. After learning the entire cruel truth, Arthur falls into endless remorse and pain, crossing blood-soaked thorns to atone for his sins desperately. Under the full protection and exclusive favor of the vampire progenitor, Avril eliminates Lilith, rebellious vampire elders, and dark abyss wizards one by one, completely cutting off the source of the ancient vampire curse. In the end, she stands side by side with Cecil, ruling the entire eternal night realm together.
