Synopsis

Alex Lafayette, a wealthy businessman with a terminal illness, is pressured into a political marriage. When his intended bride refuses him, her family sends Lara—an illegitimate daughter raised in a remote tribe. Lara, a shaman-in-training, is brought to the city under false pretenses and thrown into a world of hidden agendas and family power plays. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, she and Alex form an unlikely bond, especially when her traditional remedies show surprising effects.
